aldi!

I was a little skeptical about Aldi. But I started shopping there last summer and I love it! And today I found this meal planner tool on their website, and I love it even more. There's a GIANT database of recipes, which you can save to a cookbook (you have to register at the site but I don't think they send you spam) and add to a shopping list automatically. I am way excited.
Pardon me if you know about this already.

Thanks for the insight. Nathan always wants me to go there and I'm always hesitant b/c it's not "on the way" to home or anywhere. They do have cheap milk, though! And cheap Havarti cheese. I'll check out the meal planner. Great tip.

I'm planning to use the tool whether I'm shopping at Aldi or not...but I too love the havarti.

Are all the items listed on the Aldi menus available at Aldi?

Aldi (short for Albrecht Distribution) is a German company, hence the super-bare everything and cheap food. It rocks. I used to be horribly embarrassed when my mom dragged me there as a teen and now I admit to pride that I shop there. The only problem is most of the stuff ain't too healthy- so i shop at Trader Joe's too, which is owned by Aldi!
